Bueno&#8230;m\u00e1s que un problema, es lo que sedenomina un Multiproblema que contiene otro problema que contiene otro problema&#8230;.al estilo de las conocidas Matrioskas rusas. El problema reza reza tal que as\u00ed:<br \/>\nEn 1713, durante la guerra sueco-turca, el rey Carlos XII de Suecia estaba sitiado por el enemigo y ocupaba su tiempo jugando al ajedrez. Su oponente era el ministro Grotuzen. Un d\u00eda, llegaron a la posici\u00f3n mostrada en el diagrama. Carlos anunci\u00f3 mate en 3:<br \/>\n1.Txg3 Axg3 2.Cf3 Axh2 3.g4++<br \/>\nPero una bala turca entr\u00f3 por la ventana y destroz\u00f3 el caballo blanco. Carlos ni se inmut\u00f3. \u00ab\u00a1No importa! te regalo el caballo, y te dar\u00e9 mate en 4\u00bb:<br \/>\n1.hxg3 Ae3 2.Tg4 Ag5 3.Th4+ Axh4 4.g4++<br \/>\nTan pronto como dijo esto, otra bala entr\u00f3 y volatiliz\u00f3 el pe\u00f3n h2. \u00abParece que los turcos se han aliado contigo. Pero no importa. Sin el pe\u00f3n, te dar\u00e9 mate en 5 movimientos\u00bb:<br \/>\n1.Tb7 Ae3 2.Tb1 Ag5 3.Th1+ Ah4 4.Th2 gxh2 5.g4++<br \/>\nHasta aqu\u00ed llega el problema publicado por Loyd. Pero trascendi\u00f3 que su mente compuso un mate en 6 que se hubiese dado si la primera bala hubiese alcanzado a la torre y no al caballo&#8230;una especie de regalo escondido dentro de esta curiosa historia.
